Line-Up Announced For April 29 AEW Dynamite

Two title matches have been announced for the April 29 edition of AEW Dynamite, including the top prize in the company.

The main event of the April 22 broadcast saw Darby Allin successfully defend the World Championship against Tommaso Ciampa in what was also his first title defence. After the match, Brody King, who defeated Lio Rush earlier in the night, appeared onstage and announced that he was next in line to challenge Allin. The match was later made official for next week’s show. King previously challenged MJF for the title back at Grand Slam Australia, but was unsuccessful in the match.

Also on the April 22 Dynamite, MJF opened the show irate as he complained about losing the World Championship to Allin the previous week. MJF was then interrupted by TNT Champion Kevin Knight, who told the former World Champion that he was not worthy of holding the workhorse championship. MJF looked set to face Knight there and then, but instead exited out the ring. MJF said he would meet Knight next week, which was later made official.
