Brock Lesnar Moved To WWE Alumni Section

Brock Lesnar is no longer listed as an active WWE star as the former World Champion has been moved to the alumni section.

WWE’s roster page no longer features Lesnar, who previously was listed between Brie Bella and Bron Breakker. Following a quick loss to Oba Femi on WrestleMania 42 night 2, Lesnar removed his gloves and boots and left them in the ring. Embracing long-time ally Paul Heyman, Lesnar waved goodbye to the fans in what was presented as his in-ring retirement.

Following a successful amateur wrestling career and stint in developmental territory OVW, Lesnar officially arrived on the main roster in 2002. Quickly ascending up the card, Lesnar defeated The Rock at SummerSlam 2002 to win the first of his 10 World Championships.

After main eventing WrestleMania 19, Lesnar continued to dominate in WWE for the next year. At WrestleMania 20, Lesnar lost to Goldberg in what was his final WWE match for 8 years.

After trying to make it in the NFL, Lesnar won the UFC Heavyweight Championship before returning to WWE in 2012. Over the next 14 years, Lesnar competed on a part-time schedule. Facing the likes of John Cena, Roman Reigns and Triple H during his second run, Lesnar famously brought The Undertaker’s undefeated streak to an end at WrestleMania 30.

After losing to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023, Lesnar made his return 2 years later for one final run. After defeating John Cena at Wrestlepalooza, competing in WarGames and a brief spell in the 2026 Royal Rumble, Lesnar had his final match against Femi.

Lesnar was reportedly off TV as he was named in the Janel Grant lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE. Lesnar is named multiple times as part of the allegations, but is not a defendant in the ongoing case.

Brock Lesnar Might Not Be Done With WWE

Although Lesnar removed his boots at WrestleMania 42 and is no longer listed on the active page, fans do not believe that the former World Champion has retired. With the match between Gunther and Lesnar yet to take place, along with the rumours that Lesnar could retire at SummerSlam, it is heavily speculated that Lesnar will have at least one more match. SummerSlam 2026 is set for Minnesota, Lesnar’s home state.
