The betting odds have been released for the December 13 WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event special, which will be the site of John Cena’s last match.
Bringing his 23-year career to an end in Washington D.C., Cena will arguably face one of the most formidable opponents in the current era as he will go one on one with Gunther, who retired Goldberg back in July. According to the betting odds via My Bookie [via Fightful], Cena looks set to honour the wrestling tradition of putting someone over on his way out as Gunther is currently the odds on favourite to pick up the win.
The other matches on the card will see the stars of today take on the stars of the future in main roster vs. exhibition matches. When it comes to WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. NXT Champion Oba Femi, The American Nightmare is currently the favourite to pick up the win over The Ruler of the Tuesday night brand. However, NXT is expected to pick up a win on the show as Sol Ruca looks set to defeat Bayley.
The other match on the card, which will see World Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Dragon Lee take on NXT star Je’Von Evans and TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater, looks to see the champs win the non-title match.
