A mixed tag match, a title match and more is set for the December 12 edition of WWE SmackDown.
For weeks, Tommaso Ciampa has been demanding an opportunity at Ilja Dragunov’s United States Championship, which the champion has turned down in favour of other challengers. However, Dragunov has finally agreed to give Ciampa his opportunity on SmackDown, which will see the former NXT Champion look to win his first singles title on the main roster.
On the December 5 SmackDown, Gunther defeated LA Knight to become John Cena’s final opponent. As this will be the final show before Saturday Night’s Main Event, expect to hear from Gunther ahead of the match, along with multiple video packages to promote the event.
Damian Priest has had his issues with Aleister Black and Zelina Vega over the past few weeks, including being hit with a fireball by Black. In need of an ally, Priest will once again join forces with Rhea Ripley to take on Black and Vega in a mixed tag team match on the show.
