A title match, a major tournament will continue and more is set to take place on the August 19 edition of AEW Dynamite.
On the August 12 edition of Dynamite, Kris Statlander picked up a win over Viva Van. After the match, Mick Foley interviewed Statlander and announced that a TBS Championship match would take place next week. Statlander, Persephone and Hikaru Shida will all challenge Maya World for the title on Dynamite. Whoever wins the match will likely walk into All In London as the champion.
With the first round of the Continental Cup now in the books, a blind draw took place to determine the matches in the final eight. Jon Moxley is set to take on Jay White, and Nigel McGuinness is set to take on Hechicero. Despite the fact that McGuinness suffered the injury, the British wrestler and announcer will be in action on the show.
This will also be the final episode of Dynamite to take place in the United States before All In. The August 26 Dynamite will take place in Glasgow, Scotland as the go-home show before Wembley Stadium. The go-home Collision will also be taped in the Scottish city.
