Darby Allin will once again defend the AEW World Championship and more on the April 29 edition of Dynamite.
The main event of the April 22 broadcast saw Darby Allin successfully defend the World Championship against Tommaso Ciampa in what was his first title defence. After the match, Brody King appeared onstage and announced that he was next in line to challenge Allin, which the champion accepted. King previously challenged MJF for the title back at Grand Slam Australia, but was unsuccessful in the match. If King wins, this will be his first World Title reign.
Now without a championship, MJF has the opportunity to win gold once more as he will challenge Kevin Knight for the TNT Title on the show. If MJF defeats Knight, this will be the first time in his career that he has held the championship.
The third title match announced will see Megan Bayne and Lena Kross put their Women’s Tag Team Championships on the line against Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida.
