MJF makes his long-awaited return to action and more on AEW Dynamite.
MJF made his return to AEW at Double or Nothing and has caught the attention of Rush. Following a brawl that took place on the June 12th episode, the former World Champion will return to action as he takes on Rush in the opening match of the show, which will be commercial-free.
Multiple members of The Elite will be in action as The Young Bucks will compete in a Tag Team Championship eliminator match and Kazuchika Okada will compete in a Continental Championship eliminator match. If either of The Elite’s opponents are victorious, they will be granted future title matches.
At Forbidden Door, AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm will defend the title against Mina Shirakawa. To make the match official, a contract signing will take place on Dynamite. Additionally, AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland and challenger Will Ospreay will meet face-to-face ahead of their title match at Forbidden Door.

- Mark Briscoe, Kyle O’Reilly, Orange Cassidy, and Dante Martin vs. Roderick Strong, Kyle Fletcher, Konosuke Takeshita, and Zack Sabre Jr.
- Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay to meet face-to-face ahead of their match at Forbidden Door.
- Owen Hart Foundation men’s tournament quarterfinal: Claudio Castagnoli vs. PAC w/Bryan Danielson on commentary
- Owen Hart Foundation women’s tournament quarterfinal: Kris Statlander vs. Nyla Rose
