A World Title match, double jeopardy and more took place on the May 6 AEW Dynamite and Collision special.
On the April 29 Dynamite, Darby Allin remained the World Champion as he survived his latest title defence against Brody King. After TNT Champion Kevin Knight retained his title against MJF earlier in the night, Allin granted Knight the next opportunity.
Additionally, Juice Robinson faced Jon Moxley in a Continental Championship Eliminator match.
The show was also a tribute to Ted Turner, who passed away the day of the show.
AEW Dynamite & Collision Results May 6:
- Tony Schiavone opened the show to pay tribute to Ted Turner, who passed away earlier in the day. Schiavone introduced Sting, who stated that there would be no Sting without Turner.
- Jon Moxley defeated Jucie Robinson in a Continental Championship eliminator match.
- Orange Cassidy defeated Dax Harwood. As a result of the victory, Cassidy and another member of The Conglomeration will challenge for the Tag Team Championships.
- Chris Jericho made his way to the ring and called out The Demand. A rematch was set for Double or Nothing, but it would mark the return of the Stadium Stampede.
- Kazuchika Okada defeated Bryan Keith to retain the International Championship. Okada said he wanted the World Championship in a post-match promo.
- Samoa Joe cut a promo backstage, saying that Will Ospreay should listen to him and not The Deathriders.
- Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida defeated Harley Cameron and Mina Shirakawa.
- Darby Allin defeated Kevin Knight to retain the AEW World Championship. MJF once again demanded a rematch, but Allin said he would only agree if MJF put his hair on the line. MJF stormed out, and Kazuchika Oakda confronted Allin.
- Mike Bailey defeated AR Fox.
- Pac issued a challenge to face Darby Allin for the World Championship.
- Jamie Hayter defeated Skye Blue.
- Rush won a squash match.
- The Young Bucks and the Bang Bang Gang defeated The Dogs and The Deathriders in a 10 man tag team match.
