Roman Reigns Provides Update On Ongoing Battle With Leukaemia

Roman Reigns has addressed his ongoing battle with chronic myelogenous leukaemia (CML) while discussing his health and fitness.

The WWE star recently spoke with Men’s Health about his training both in professional wrestling and as part of the upcoming Street Fighter movie, where he will play the role of Akuma.

When asked about the rise of peptides in recovery and his thoughts on using them, the World Champion responded that he has to be careful with what he puts into his body due to CML. Reigns added that he can’t take a chance on anything that is invasive:

“Well, with my medical history, I have to be very careful. I’m still to this day down to the wire fighting CML. So I have to be very, very careful when it comes to different things like that. Anything invasive, anything like that, I just can’t take a chance on it. So I’ve heard all kinds of cool stuff about that, but I haven’t been able to break into that or sample it.”

“Maybe one day it’ll be a question for my doctor, but I’ve been able to just outwork everything at this point. So if I can keep doing that, then I’ll stay that route for now.”

Continuing, Reigns said that the leukaemia is under control, but there are still traces of it in his body. While also admitting that he has limited knowledge of peptides, right now he believes that they are overrated:
