Roman Reigns will defend the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Money in the Bank 2026 after being attacked on WWE Raw.
Following his successful title defence against Penta on the September 14 Raw, Reigns’ celebration was interrupted by LA Knight. Spoiling the party, Knight laid out Reigns with a BFT. Shortly afterwards, it was confirmed that Knight would challenge Reigns for the gold at Money in the Bank. Over the past few weeks, Knight has complained about his lack of opportunities against Reigns, stating that others have received their shot first.
Also announced for the show are the two signature Money in the Bank ladder matches. The winners of each match will have a year to cash in on a champion of their choosing at any time. Bron Breakker, Je’Von Evans, Sol Ruca and Lola Vice have qualified so far.

- Roman Reigns (c) vs. LA Knight – Singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship
- Bron Breakker vs. Je’Von Evans vs. TBA – Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match
- Sol Ruca vs. Lola Vice vs. TBA – Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match
WWE will air Money in the Bank live on Saturday, October 10. The show will stream on ESPN in the United States and on Netflix internationally.
