WWE has added 2 more UK dates to the summer 2026 European tour, including a SmackDown TV taping in London.
As announced via press release on May 7, WWE SmackDown will emanate from the O2 Arena in the nation’s capital on Tuesday, June 23. The show will take place the night after Raw will air live from the same venue, which was announced back in January.
Additionally, a live show is set for Sheffield’s Utilita Arena on June 24, rounding out the series of European dates. The tour will include a Premium Live Event in Turin, Italy on May 31, titled Clash in Italy. With Backlash still set to take place, no matches for the international show have been announced at the time of writing.
While card is set to change, the announced stars set to appear on the tour are “Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes, Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley, United States Champion Trick Williams, Intercontinental Champion Penta, The Usos, GUNTHER, Drew McIntyre, Jacob Fatu and many more.”
Will Summer 2026 WWE SmackDown Air Live?
Following the move to Netflix in early 2025, international fans have been able to catch all Raw, SmackDown, NXT and Premium Live Events live. While previous overseas shows were taped ahead of time and broadcast in the usual timeslot [1 am in the UK], shows have aired at 8 pm local time regardless of the location. However, with SmackDown set to air on a Tuesday as opposed to the traditional Friday night slot, it is unknown if the show will air live on Netflix. It is also unknown at this time if SmackDown will air on Tuesday in the United States or will be delayed by 3 days.
The last time SmackDown aired live on a Tuesday was back in 2019 as part of the media rights deal. On October 4, 2019, SmackDown moved to Friday nights as it aired live on FOX for the next 5 years.
