The December 9th edition of SmackDown will be broadcast live from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A tag team match and a Hall of Fame appearance are set to take place on the show.
WWE Hall of Famer and Pittsburgh’s own Kurt Angle will be appearing live in front of the WWE Universe. As Angle’s birthday is also on December 9th, the Olympic Gold Medallist will celebrate the big day with the fans on the show.
Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler have been targeting Raquel Rodriguez and Shotzi in recent weeks. A tag team match has been scheduled for the show so that they can settle their differences.
Drew McIntyre has been medically disqualified from the show, meaning that the former WWE Champion is unable to compete in his originally scheduled match. McIntyre was set to team with Sheamus to face The Usos for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships. Instead, Butch will team with Sheamus to challenge for the titles.
