Drew McIntyre will miss the December 9th edition of SmackDown, missing an opportunity to become one half of the new Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions.
Taking to social media, the former WWE Champion stated that he will not be at SmackDown on December 9th, stating that he has been medically disqualified to compete. McIntyre would finish the social media post by stating his disappointment at being absent at the upcoming show but promised the WWE Universe he would be back soon.
In a report posted onto WWE.com, McIntyre has been diagnosed with a ruptured eardrum, not clearing The Scottish Warrior to compete. It was later announced that The Usos, who retained the titles on the December 5th Raw to extend their record breaking championship reign, would be still defending the titles on SmackDown. Jimmy and Jey will be defending the tag team championships against Sheamus and replacement partner Butch on the show.
