The ratings for the July 29th editions of WWE SmackDown and AEW Rampage have been published. On average, 2.193 million people watched SmackDown and 375,000 people watched Rampage. The numbers have been obtained by Brandon Thurston from Wrestlenomics:
Both shows have seen a drop in viewers compared to the previous week. As the July 22nd SmackDown drew an average audience of 2.256 million viewers, the drop calculates to approximately 2.8%. SmackDown obtained a key demographic rating of 0.52, also down from the record high 0.62 rating from July 22nd.
The July 22nd Rampage obtained an average audience of 428,000 viewers, meaning that the drop calculates to approximately 12.4%. Rampage obtained a key demographic rating of 0.11, also down from the 0.17 rating from July 22nd.
SmackDown saw the final build to SummerSlam take place on the show along with the first match made official for Clash at the Castle. Rampage concluded the Fight For The Fallen special week of programming for AEW.
