Triple H Appears Live At WrestleMania 38

Triple H Appears Live At WrestleMania 38

Triple H made his return to main roster television at WrestleMania 38. The King of Kings appeared in front of the Dallas crowd in the opening segment of night 2, shortly after the opening video package featuring Mark Wahlberg.

The iconic Motorhead song blasted through the speakers in Texas, followed by a massive cheer from the WWE Universe. Triple H would then emerge and make his signature entrance to the ring. The Game said that he just wanted to say thank you to the WWE Universe, and welcomed the live crowd at AT&T Stadium to night 2 of WrestleMania. The former 14 time World Champion then left his boots in the middle of the ring, a sign in the wrestling business of retirement.

Triple H recently announced his retirement from in-ring competition in an interview on ESPN. While the announcement was made in a television studio, the WrestleMania segment was The Game’s way of retiring in front of the WWE crowd. It should also be noted that prior to the cardiac event suffered by Triple H, there were plans for the WWE Hall of Famer to have a match at WrestleMania 38.

While this is Triple H’s first appearance on main roster television in a number of months, The Game made a brief appearance during the NXT Premium Live Event Stand & Deliver. Following Tommaso Ciampa losing his final match in NXT, Triple H would come out to embrace Ciampa after the match.
