The return of Brock Lesnar to WWE has been announced, with The Beast set to appear on the December 3rd edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
Rumours of Lesnar’s suspension being lifted began at Survivor Series, where Kayla Braxton stated the news to Paul Heyman shortly before the main event of the pay-per-view, which saw Roman Reigns defeat Big E in a champion vs. champion match.
In the main event of the November 26th SmackDown, a Black Friday Invitational Battle Royal took place to determine the next challenger for Reigns’ Universal Championship. The battle royal was won by Sami Zayn, with The Universal Champion laughing at the result, seemingly not taking the next challenger seriously. Kayla Braxton was about to interview Zayn in the ring to discuss the victory, but was interrupted by the breaking news in her earpiece that Lesnar will be returning in 7 days.
Brock Lesnar was suspended for an undisclosed amount of time back in October for attacking WWE Officials, including delivering an F5 to Adam Pearce. Following the suspension announcement, it was also stated that The Beast was “fined $1 million.”
