Brock Lesnar has been suspended indefinitely from WWE, with the announcement taking place on the October 22nd edition of SmackDown.
Following a controversial victory over The Beast at the Crown jewel pay-per-view, the Universal Champion Roman Reigns opened SmackDown. Reigns mocked Lesnar’s quote that Brock would ‘beat Roman senseless’ when he saw him next. In an unannounced appearance, Lesnar’s music hit and the former Universal Champion charged to the ring.
Lesnar then proceeded to attack The Tribal Chief around ringside, including multiple attacks with the steel steps. When it looked like Brock was about to hit an F-5 onto Roman through the announce table, The Usos came to make the save. However, both Jimmy and Jey were quickly dispatched by Lesnar. Multiple producers and superstars also tried to break up the melee, but also met the same fate as The Bloodline.
Eventually, the carnage calmed down and Brock Lesnar made his way to the back. WWE official Adam Pearce was then seen in the ring and made the announcement that Lesnar has been indefinitely suspended. Unfortunately for Pearce, the news brought Lesnar back out. The Beast then confronted the WWE official and demanded the news be repeated. Upon Adam Pearce once again saying that Brock was suspended, Lesnar hit Pearce with 2 F-5’s before once again making his way to the back.
Brock Lesnar returned at SummerSlam 2021. Since his surprise return, Lesnar had only one match in WWE, which was for the Universal Championship at the WWE Crown Jewel pay-per-view.
