The ratings for the August 23rd edition of Monday Night RAW have been revealed. The SummerSlam fallout episode of the red brand had an average viewership of 2.067 million viewers. The rating has been obtained from Brandon Thurston at Wrestlenomics:
This is the highest number of viewers for RAW in over 6 months. As noted by Thurston, the only episode of the red brand to achieve a higher rating higher than this in 2021 was the January 4th edition, which was RAW “Legends Night.” It is also only the 3rd time that RAW has seen over 2 million people watch the show in 2021. Besides the “Legends Night” episode and the SummerSlam fallout, the other episode was the RAW after WrestleMania 37, which saw 2.026 million people tune in.
The August 23rd RAW also saw a strong showing in the key demographic of 18-49. 826,000 viewers in the key age range watched the red brand, which equates to a 0.64 rating.
The show was main evented by the RAW Tag Team Championship celebration of RK-Bro, who became the new champions at SummerSlam.
