Former WWE star Zoey Stark, now competing under the name Zoey Serrano, will be coming to the UK in one of her matches since her release.
On June 4, UK promotion RevPro announced that Serrano will be a part of the upcoming Women’s Grand Prix. The 2-show event is set to take place on July 25. The 8-woman tournament will take place in Wolverhampton as part of RevPro’s summer schedule. The British promotion is also set to take over Wembley on August bank holiday Saturday, the day before AEW All In.
Responding to the announcement on social media, Serrano stated that “Sh*t’s about to get real.” More competitors will be announced in the lead-up to the show.
Zoey Serrano Preparing For Post-WWE Career
The former Zoey Stark was among the recent round releases that occurred shortly after WrestleMania 42. Stark’s most recent match to date saw her face Rhea Ripley and Kairi Sane in a Money in the Bank qualifying match. However, Stark was taken out of the match due to injury, leading to the qualifier becoming a standard singles match.
Stark was sidelined with injury for the best part of the year, but was cleared to compete shortly before being informed of her release.
Stark was a member of the Pure Fusion Collective stable alongside Sonya Deville and Shayna Baszler. Additionally, the former WWE star served as backup for Trish Stratus during the Hall of Famer’s rivalry with Becky Lynch.
