Zaria has captured her first championship in NXT, the Women’s North American Title.
Competing in the main event of the June 9 broadcast, Zaria pinned Tatum Paxley to win the championship. The finish of the match saw the Australian star hit Paxley with an F5 on the outside of the ring. Zaria rolled Paxley back into the ring, hit a spear and another F5 to win the match.
The title change brings Paxely’s reign to an end at 94 days. Zaria is now the 9th holder of the championship, with Kelani Jordan, Fallon Henley, Stephanie Vaquer, Sol Ruca, Blake Monroe, Thea Hail, Izzi Dame and Paxley being the others to reign as champion.
Zaria Finally Wins Gold In NXT
Zaria has been chasing the North American Championship ever since it was vacated by Vaquer back in February 2025. Zaria competed in a ladder match for the vacant title, but this match was won by her former partner, Sol Ruca. While Zaria was not champion during this time, she did put the title on the line on behalf of Ruca when Ruca was injured. Unfortunately, Zaria’s match with Blake Monroe saw Monroe pick up the win.
From there, Zaria and Ruca’s alliance ended and the two feuded, with Zaria picking up the win before Ruca was called up to the main roster. Ruca is now the Women’s Intercontinental Champion after defeating Becky Lynch at Clash in Italy.
