Betting odds have now been released for the upcoming WWE Wrestlepalooza Premium Live Event, which will see the in-ring return of AJ Lee, a new champion guaranteed to be crowned, and more!
With Wrestlepalooza being the first PLE to be broadcast on the new ESPN streaming service in the United States, WWE has loaded up the card for the show to kick off the new era in style. The show will mark AJ Lee’s first match in over a decade following her return to the company on the September 5 episode of SmackDown, which will see Lee team with her husband CM Punk to take on Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch. Additionally, IYO SKY and Stephanie Vaquer will face each other for the Women’s World Championship, which was vacated after former champion Naomi announced that she was pregnant.
Ahead of the show, betting odds for the matches have been published on betting site MyBookie [obtained via Wrestling News.co]. The betting site currently has Punk and Lee as the favourites in the mixed tag team match and Stephanie Vaquer as the favourite to win the Women’s World Championship for the first time in her career.
In what is a more surprising prediction based on the odds, John Cena is currently favoured to defeat Brock Lesnar, who will be in action for the first time in over 2 years following his return at SummerSlam.
WWE Wrestlepalooza Betting Odds:
- John Cena (-150) vs. Brock Lesnar (+120)
- CM Punk and AJ Lee (-260) vs. Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins (+170)
- Stephanie Vaquer (-300) vs. IYO SKY (+200) for the vacant Women’s World Championship
It should be noted that while no odds were available for the recently announced match between The Usos and Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, odds have been provided for WWE Champion Cody Rhodes (-500) vs. Drew McIntyre (+300), which has been rumoured but not announced.
WWE Wrestlepalooza will air live from Indianapolis on September 20, and will air on ESPN in the United States and on Netflix internationally.
