A major debut, a WrestleMania rematch and more are set for the September 6 WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event special in Atlanta, Georgia.
The latest special is set for Sunday night as opposed to the traditional Saturday Night’s Main Event format. At SummerSlam, Randy Orton made his return to TV and picked up where he left off at WrestleMania by taking out Cody Rhodes. With both men having unfinished business and looking to win back the WWE Championship down the road, the match is set for Sunday.
Rapper Lil Yachty will make his in-ring debut as he takes on United States Champion Baron Corbin. If Yachty can last 5 minutes with Corbin, Trick Williams will receive a future opportunity at the title.
Oba Femi and Bron Breakker are also both scheduled to face off at the event. Both men claim they are the future of WWE, and look to prove it on Sunday. The other match announced will see Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair and new ally Tatum Paxley take on the trio of Jade Cargill, Michin and B-Fab.
Sunday Night’s Main Event is scheduled to start at 8 pm local time, which will be 1 am in the UK. The show will air live on Peacock in the United States and on YouTube internationally.
