Line-Up Annouced For AEW Dynamite: Rebel Heart On September 9

A title match, Britt Baker’s in-ring return and mroe are set for the AEW Dynamite: Rebel Heart special on Wednesday, September 9.

The next episode of Dynamite will honour Tanea Brooks, better known to fans as Rebel. Brooks, who signed with the company in the early days, was diagnosed with terminal ALS back in March 2026. The Dynamite special will see Rebel make a live appearance as she and Britt Baker will present The Waiting Room, which will feature special guests TBS Champion Persephone and Hikaru Shida. Additionally, A donation will be made from the event to benefit I AM ALS and Team Gleason, two leading organisations in the fight against ALS.

Baker, who made her return at All In last month, will also make her in-ring return on Dynamite. Baker will team with Persephone and Shida to take on Maya World, Hyan and Thunder Rosa.

After helping Darby Allin over the past few weeks, Steven Borden, the son of Sting, will make his in-ring debut on Dynamite. Borden will team with Allin to take on Josh Alexander and Mark Davis.

Other matches announced will see David Finlay face Will Ospreay in a World Title eliminator match, and Swerve Strickland & The New Level will put their Trios Titles on the line against The Conglomeration.

• Swerve Strickland and The New Level (c) vs. The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong) – Trios match for the AEW Trios Championships
• Maya World, Hyan and Thunder Rosa vs. Persephone, Britt Baker and Hikaru Shida
• Darby Allin and Steven Borden vs. Mark Davis and Josh Alexander
• Young Bucks vs. Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight
• The Waiting Room with Britt Baker and Rebel will interview special guests Persephone and Hikaru Shida
