New champions crowned, a major return and more were among the results for WWE SummerSlam 2026 night 2.
Returning to the US Bank Stadium for a second night, the show was headlined by Seth Rollins looking to win back the World Heavyweight Championship, a title that he never lost. Rollins’ opponent was a man he has more than a decade of history with, Roman Reigns. Additionally, a new champion was crowned on the show as an Interim Women’s Champion was determined in a ladder match.
Looking to win his first singles championship, Chad Gable challenged Penta for the Intercontinental title in what was the penultimate match of the show.

WWE SummerSlam 2026 Night 2 Results:
- Kevin Owens defeated Sami Zayn, Gunther and Finn Balor to become the new number one contender to the WWE Championship
- Baron Corbin defeated Trick Williams to become the new United States Champion
- Chelsea Green defeated Charlotte Flair, Jade Cargill, Lash Legend, and Tiffany Stratton in a ladder match to become the Interim Women’s Champion
- Danhausen defeated Dominik Mysterio in a human monies on a pole match
- Chad Gable defeated Penta to become the new Intercontinental Champion
- Roman Reigns defeated Seth Rollins to retain the World Heavyweight Championship
