WWE SummerSlam 2024 Predictions

WWE SummerSlam 2024 Predictions

WWE SummerSlam will air live from the Cleveland Brown’s Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio on August 3rd.

The 2024 event will be the 37th iteration of the show in company history and is expected to be a very newsworthy night as SummerSlam is known as one of the “big 4” shows on the WWE calendar. Following Gunther’s King of the Ring victory and Nia Jax’s Queen of the Ring victory, both stars will face off against the top champions on their respective brands at the show. Additionally, Rhea Ripley finally has an opportunity at redemption as she challenges Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship.

WWE SummerSlam 2024 Predictions Are As Follows:

Logan Paul (c) vs. LA Knight – Singles Match For The United States Championship

Still yet to win a championship on the main roster, this finally feels like it is Knight’s time to get the landmark WWE victory. One year on from his victory in the Slim Jim Battle Royal, Knight is a favourite to defeat Logan Paul in his hometown and fight off any interference that is likely to factor into the match itself.

Winner: LA Knight

Bayley (c) vs. Nia Jax – Singles Match For The WWE Women’s Championship

Looking to establish Queen of the Ring as a prestigious accolade, there is a strong chance that Jax will become the new champion at SummerSlam and defeat Bayley in a rematch from their encounter at NXT TakeOver London. With Money in the Bank winner Tiffany Stratton now aligned with Jax, expect the alliance to gradually show cracks until Stratton inevitably cashes in on Jax and becomes the new champion.

Winner: Nia Jax

Damian Priest (c) vs. Gunther – Singles Match For The World Heavyweight Championship

Much like the Queen of the Ring, this is Gunther’s time to continue the positive momentum and win the World Championship. Gunther loses rarely and is a strong favourite to walk in and out of Bash in Berlin as the World Champion in the main event. While The Judgment Day may factor into the finish and accidentally cost Priest, the title reign feels like it has run its course and the loss will lead to Priest turning face and leaving The Judgment Day shortly after.

Winner: Gunther

Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley – Singles Match For The Women’s World Championship

While a lot of title changes are expected to take place at SummerSlam, this one won’t be one of them. While from an in-ring standpoint, Ripley is the firm favourite to win, the match is likely to see Dominik Mysterio finally make his decision. Whether it be by accident or blatantly on purpose, Mysterio will cost Ripley the championship and once again be an integral part in allowing Morgan’s reign to continue.

Winner: Liv Morgan

Sami Zayn (c) vs. Bron Breakker – Singles Match For The Intercontinental Championship

In a rematch from Money in the Bank, where Breakker lost clean to Zayn, it feels like this one is a forgone conclusion. Despite the fact that Breakker has been dominant over Zayn for weeks, the momentum will not swing this time. Winning his first title in front of a packed stadium, it is almost a guarantee that Breakker will win the rematch.

Winner: Bron Breakker

Drew McIntyre vs. CM Punk – Seth Rollins To Serve As Special Guest Referee

Although Rollins has teased that the rules will be relaxed for this match, The Visionary is going to be a huge part in how this highly-anticipated bout will come to an end. Both Punk and McIntyre are likely to push Rollins to breaking point until he snaps, similar to what happened back in 1997 when Shawn Michaels refereed the match between The Undertaker and Bret Hart. With Punk having the advantage over McIntyre by screwing The Scottish Warrior 3 times previously, it feels like this is finally McIntyre’s time to get some payback.

Winner: Drew McIntyre

Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Solo Sikoa – Singles Match For The WWE Undisputed Championship

Cody Rhodes’ issues with The Bloodline are far from over as he taken on the new leader of the group. While interference is almost a guarantee with The Guerrillas of Destiny and Jacob Fatu being present, Rhodes will once again overcome the odds and retain the championship. While the match itself will not exactly be the match of the year, what happens after the bell will likely be the biggest talking point of the entire show as a Roman Reigns return is very much expected to happen in Cleveland.

Winner: Cody Rhodes
