The Miz will be at WWE SummerSlam.
Despite not being on the card for the event, Cleveland’s own will still be a part of the show as it was announced on the July 29th episode of WWE Raw that he would be the host of the event. After Miz announced that he would be hosting SummerSlam which was taking place in “his house” of Cleveland, Ohio, tag partner R-Truth interrupted and thought that WWE was bringing back the In Your House pay-per-view, which Miz corrected his tag partner and confirmed that he would not be bringing hors d’oeuvres.

It was also announced that SummerSlam will have a 3-hour kick-off show, which will see Michael Cole conduct a sitdown interview with CM Punk and will start at 4pm EST, going head to head with AEW Collision. At the time of writing, no matches have been announced for the pre-show.
The Miz Added To WWE SummerSlam
The A-Lister hosting the event joins 7 matches and a live performance confirmed for the Biggest Party of the Summer on Saturday, August 3rd. The updated line-up of matches and segments for WWE SummerSlam is as follows:
- Damian Priest (c) vs. Gunther – Singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship
- Bayley (c) vs. Nia Jax – Singles match for the WWE Women’s Championship
- Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Solo Sikoa – Singles match for the Undisputed Championship
- Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley – Singles match for the Women’s World Championship
- Logan Paul (c) vs. LA Knight – Singles match for the United States Championship
- Sami Zayn (c) vs. Bron Breakker – Singles match for the Intercontinental Championship
- CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre – Seth Rollins will serve as special guest referee
- The Miz to host SummerSlam
- Jelly Roll to perform live
