The final WWE SmackDown before Saturday Night’s Main Event, featuring a title match and more taking place on the show.
The next iteration of the nostalgic special will take place on May 24th with a steel cage match, John Cena vs. R-Truth and more announced to take place. With only one show left before Saturday Night’s Main Event, SmackDown focused on the final build.
With Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley and Roxanne Perez all qualifying for Money in the Bank, more entrants were confirmed on SmackDown as the next round of qualifiers took place. Additionally, a title match took place as The Street Profits put the Tag Team Championships on the line against Nathan Frazer and Axiom.
Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett were the announce team for the show.
The Following Results Took Place On WWE SmackDown:
- Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest were seen brawling in the back before the show officially began.
- Tiffany Stratton kicked off the show and spoke about her victory over Nia Jax the previous week and Money in the Bank. Alexa Bliss interrupted Stratton and stated that she needed the briefcase to become champion again. Bliss issued a warning to Stratton before being interrupted by Charlotte Flair. The Queen vowed to win Money in the Bank and cash in on Stratton. The champion stated that while Flair and Bliss were the standard, she was the upgrade.
- Giulia defeated Charlotte Flair and Zelina Vega to qualify for Money in the Bank.
- Tommaso Ciampa defeated Chris Sabin thanks to a returning Candice LeRae, who attacked Sabin when the referee was distracted.
- B-Fab and Michin defeated Alba Fyre and Piper Niven.
- Jacob Fatu and JC Mateo defeated Jimmy Uso and Rey Fenix.
- R-Truth appeared live and spoke about his match with John Cena at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
- LA Knight defeated Aleister Black and Shinsuke Nakamura to qualify for Money in the Bank
- The Street Profits vs. The Wyatt Sicks ended in a no contest when the Wyatt Sicks made their return.
