A title match, a rivalry renewed and more will take place on the October 31 edition of WWE SmackDown.
Looking to continue the US Open Challenge re-established by Sami Zayn, Ilja Dragunov is scheduled to put the title on the line once more against an opponent to be determined.
For the first time in 4 years, Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss will go one on one. The last time the 2 former Women’s Champions faced off, it was Bliss who picked up the victory via DQ. With Jax looking to receive another title match, The Irresistible Force will be hoping for another victory over her former best friend. The other match announced will see Carmelo Hayes take on Kit Wilson.
As this will be the final episode of SmackDown before Saturday Night’s Main Event, it is expected that the show will heavily focus on the build to the upcoming special, which will see Cody Rhodes defend his WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre, and Jade Cargill looking to win the WWE Women’s Championship from Tiffany Stratton. With Jade Cargill turning heel the previous week, we will hear from the number one contender on the show to explain her actions.
