John Cena faces R-Truth again and more on the June 20 WWE SmackDown.
In what has been a very up-and-down month for R-Truth, the former Tag Team Champion was cut from the company on June 1st but brought back just 6 days later. Making a shock appearance at Money in the Bank on June 7th, Truth attacked Cena and cost the WWE Champion the main event. Still targeting Cena and now with a more serious character, Truth has been granted his rematch against Cena on SmackDown.
Semifinal matches in the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments will also take place. In the King of the Ring tournament, Randy Orton will face Sami Zayn. Whoever emerges as the winner will advance to Night of Champions on June 28th to face the winner of Jey Uso vs. Cody Rhodes.
In the Queen of the Ring Tournament, former Women’s Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss and Asuka will face off in their semifinal match. Whoever is the winner will also advance to Night of Champions, facing the winner of Jade Cargill vs. Roxanne Perez.
