The return of Roman Reigns, the fallout from SummerSlam and more will take place on WWE SmackDown.
The biggest news from SummerSlam was the return of Roman Reigns, who appeared live for the first time since losing the Undisputed Championship to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40. Addressing his return and the turmoil in The Bloodline, Roman Reigns will appear live on SmackDown.
Two SmackDown championships changed hands at SummerSlam as LA Knight defeated Logan Paul to become the new United States Champion and Nia Jax defeated Bayley to become the new Women’s Champion. While not officially announced, expect to hear from Knight and Jax on the show.
Additionally, WWE will present its second PLE in August with Bash in Berlin taking place on the 31st. With the first match made official as Gunther will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton, expect more matches to be added on the show.
