WWE SmackDown will see tag team warfare, an old rivalry visited and more.
On the New Year’s Revolution special episode of SmackDown, Bianca Belair declared herself for the Royal Rumble. Damage CTRL have taken issue with this as it interferes with their plan to have Bayley win the match. Bayley will hope to take out Belair before the Rumble on SmackDown.
Also at New Year’s Revolution, Cameron Grimes found humour in the fact that United States Champion Logan Paul was laid out by Kevin Owens. Defending his friend’s honour, Grayson Waller will face off against Grimes on the show.
Roman Reigns interfered in a number one contenders 3-Way match between Randy Orton, AJ Styles and LA Knight on the January 5th SmackDown. As such, General Manager Nick Aldis made the decision that Reigns will defend the title in a Fatal 4-Way match. Knight, Styles and Orton will address the upcoming match on the show.
With the Royal Rumble fast approaching, while not announced expect more Superstars to officially declare themselves for the upcoming match.
