The fallout from WrestleMania 41 continued on WWE SmackDown with another John Cena appearance and more!
Less than a week after John Cena won his 17th World Championship in controversial fashion, the new champ made his first appearance on SmackDown. On the Raw after Mania, Cena was hit with an RKO from Randy Orton.
Also at WrestleMania, Tiffany Stratton retained her Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair. It was Tiffy Time in Fort Worth, TX as Stratton appeared live.
Multiple title matches took place as Chelsea Green put her Women’s United Championship on the line against Zelina Vega and The Street Profits defended their Tag Team Championships in a TLC match against Motor City Machine Guns and DIY.
Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett were the announce team for the show.

- After another video package recapped WrestleMania, John Cena appeared live. Cena once again corrected ring announcer Mark Nash and demanded a more elaborate entrance. Before Cena could speak he was interrupted by Randy Orton. Orton noted that he had known Cena for 25 years and that he was genuine for most of that time, but things have changed. Orton noted how generations of kids looked up to him and how he has granted more Make-A-Wishes than anyone. Orton advised Cena to have kids to fill the void, to which Cena responded that he’s been too busy raising other kids. Cena insulted the fans and Orton demanded a title shot, which Cena stated should take place at Backlash. Orton ducked a title shot and hit Cena with another RKO to stand tall.
- Fraxiom defeated Los Garzas in what looks to be their SmackDown call-up.
- Tiffnay Stratton celebrated her WrestleMania retention before being interrupted by Jade Cargill, who wanted a shot at the title. Stratton vs. Cargill ended in DQ when Naomi attacked Cargill and Stratton was attacked by a returning Nia Jax.
- Jacob Fatu celebrated his US Title victory. The segment was interrupted by LA Knight and then Drew McIntyre. Nick Aldis later made a match between Knight and McIntyre, where the winner would become the new number one contender.
- Zelina Vega defeated Chelsea Green to become the enw Women’s United States Champion.
- The Miz complained about being left off the WreslteMania card before being interrupted by a returning Aleister Black, who hit Miz with a Black Mass.
- LA Knight vs. Drew McIntyre ended in a no contest when Solo Sikoa and Damian Priest interfered. Ultimately, Jacob Fatu stood tall.
- The Street Profits defeated DIY and MCMG in a TLC match to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships.
