A massive debut and more are set for the October 21 edition of AEW Dynamite, the first show since WrestleDream.
The rumours were indeed true at WrestleDream as Ilja Dragunov made his first appearance for All Elite Wrestling. The former WWE star appeared following the Trios Title match to the delight of the live fans, and an All Elite graphic followed shortly afterwards.
Dragunov appeared at the post-show media scrum following the pay-per-view. Tony Khan then let the fans know that The Mad Dragon would be having his first match on the next episode of Dynamite. Dragunov’s opponent has not been announced at this time.
With this being the first show following WrestleDream, the events of the pay-per-view will be the main focus. The main event of WrestleDream saw Will Ospreay defend his World Championship in a Clockwork Carnage match. One title change took place on the show, which saw Adam Page and Brodido defeat The New Level and Swerve Strickland to win back the Trios Championship.
