The fallout from WWE Backlash, the latest Oba Femi open challenge and more were part of the May 11 Raw line-up.
The main event of Backlash saw Roman Reigns survive Jaob Fatu to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. However, Fatu snapped after the match, attacking Reigns to stand tall at the end of the show. Fatu was set to appear live to acknowledge Roman Reigns.
Additionally, Oba Femi continued his dominant run, and the Women’s Tag Team Champions appeared live.
The first matches for the next Saturday Night’s Main Event were also announced.
Michael Cole and Corey Graves were on commentary for the show. Lilian Garcia was the ring announcer.
WWE Raw Results May 11:
- Following a recap of Backlash, Roman Reigns was seen arriving at Raw. Adam Pearce said that Jacob Fatu crossed the line. Pearce said he considered firing Fatu, but Reigns said that Fatu was yet to acknowledge him.
- The Vision officially kicked off Raw. Paul Heyman spoke about Bron Breakker’s dominance. Austin Theory tried to air his grievances, but was interrupted by The Street Profits. Logan Paul tried to cut a romo, but was interrupted by Joe Hendry.
- The Street Profits and Joe Hendry defeated The Vision. Seth Rollins attacked Bron Breakker to give the babyface the advantage. Breakker attacked Angelo Dawkins with a spear after the match.
- Penra called out Ethan Page. A match for the Intercontinental Championship was later set up for the next Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 23. Rusev and Je’Von Evans later interrupted, and a brawl ensued. The Babyfaces stood tall.
- Je’Von Evans defeated Rusev.
- Backstage, Asuka embraced IYO SKY and congratulated her on the Backlash victory.
- Women’s tag team champions Brie Bella and Paige appeared live to address The Judgment Day’s challenge. The heels interrupted and Liv Morgan attacked the champions.
- IYO SKY defeated Sol Ruca.
- Oba Femi defeated Los Garza in the latest open challenge.
- Dominik Mysterio defeated the Original El Grande Americano to retain the AAA Mega Championship.
- Roman Reigns and The Usos appeared live for the Acknowledgement Ceremony. Jacob Fatu attacked The Usos and started brawling with Reigns. Reigns took out Fatu with a steel chair, but Fatu recovered. Reigns was sent through the announce table. Fatu then sent Reigns and The Usos through the timekeeper’s area to close out the show.
