The July 7 WWE Raw presented the final build to Saturday Night’s Main Event and Evolution, along with the return of Goldberg and more!
With a bumper weekend of action set to take place in Atlanta, Georgia over the weekend, WWE focused on the 2 Premium Live Events with participants announced for the Evolution battle royal, Gunther and Goldberg having their final confrontation and Seth Rollins in action against Penta.
Michael Cole and Corey Graves were on commentary for the show.
WWE Raw Results July 7
- Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman officially kicked off Raw. Rollins informed the fans that Heyman would be known as The Oracle moving forward. All men spoke about her dominance and what was to come. Heyman issued a warning to the factions’ opponents for the night, along with LA Knight, who will face Rollins at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
- After a segment in The Judgment Day clubhouse, Kairi Sane defeated Liv Morgan. Sane was attacked after the match until Asuka made the save. It was then announced that the reunited Kabuki Warriors would be a part of the Women’s Tag Title 4-way at Evolution.
- Nikki Bella appeared via video and announced that she would be in the Evolution battle royal on Sunday.
- Bron Breakker defeated Sami Zayn.
- Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch and her Evolution challengers Lyra Valkyria and Bayley met in the ring. Following a war of words, a brawl ensued with Valkyria standing tall.
- Jey Uso vs. Bonson Reed ended in DQ. Reed brutalised Uso after the match.
- El Grande Americano defeated Dragon Lee.
- Goldberg interrupted Gunther and laid out the World Heavyweight Champion with a right hand.
- Seth Rollins defeated Penta. LA Knight hit Rollins with the BFT after the match.
