Nikki Bella will still be in action at WWE Evolution despite the prior uncertainty of the Hall of Famer’s involvement in the show.
Appearing via video package on the July 7 WWE Raw, Bella spoke about her recent return on Raw and Liv Morgan questioning her legacy. The former Divas Champion then stated that she was looking for one more moment for the fans and for her son, announcing her entry in the women’s battle royal at the all-women’s Premium Live Event on July 13. Whoever wins the match will earn a women’s championship match at Clash in Paris in late August.
Other announced participants in the match are Ivy Nile, Stephanie Vaquer, Nia Jax, Natalya, and Maxxine Dupri. NXT General Manager Ava will announce more entrants on the July 8 show.
Bella made her 2025 return as the final entrant in the Women’s Royal Rumble match. The Hall of Famer also headlined the first Evolution event back in 2018, losing to then Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey.
Original WWE Evolution Plans For Nikki Bella Scrapped
Bella’s involvement in Evolution 2 looks to be in doubt following the unfortunate events that occurred back in June. The original plans looked to be either Bella taking on Liv Morgan in a singles match or Nikki and her sister Brie challenging Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for the Women’s Tag Team Championships. However, as Liv Morgan suffered an injury on the June 16 episode of Raw, those plans were cancelled.
