Roman Reigns made his return, a gauntlet match and more took place on the July 13 edition of WWE Raw.
To make their SummerSlam match official, World Champion Roman Reigns and challenger Seth Rollins appeared live. Both men signed the contract for their upcoming match, which has more than 10 years of history behind it.
Additionally, a gauntlet match took place to determine who would challenge Penta for the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam.
This was also the final Raw before the next Saturday Night’s Main Event. The July 18 special will emanate from Madison Square Garden in NewYork.

WWE Raw Results July 13:
- Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman officially opened the show. Making their way to the ring flanked by security, the fans chanted loudly for Oba Femi. Heyman mocked Femi for turning down a title match as he is obsessed with Brock Lesnar. Heyman said Femi was a “dummy” for his choice. Heyman admitted that Lesnar is also obsessed with Femi. Heyman also said that he got a restraining order on Femi, the lights went out and Femi made his entrance. Femi attacked the police that accompanied Lesnar and Heyman to the ring. Femi yelled that Lesnar can’t run from The Ruler.
- IYO SKY defeated Roxanne Perez. The Judgment Day looked to beat down SKY after the match, but Sol Ruca made the save. The numbers game was too much, as The Judgment Day beat down SKY and Ruca. SKY was hit in the head with the title belt.
- The Vision looked to celebrate their Tag Team Title win, but Otis and Akira Tozawa interrupted. Theory mocked Otis and a brawl ensued. Maxxine Dupri saved Theory and Otis was hit with a low blow.
- Royce Keys defeated Jimmy Uso via DQ when Jacob Fatu attacked Keys. Solo Sikoa arrived and a brawl ensued until LA Knight made the save. The Usos and Fatu vs. LA Knight, Royce Keys and Solo Sikoa was announced for SummerSlam.
- Lyra Valkyria took several jabs at Bayley, including calling her the worst of the Horsewomen. Bayley vs. Valkyria was added to Saturday Night’s Main Event.
- Chad Gable won the gauntlet match to challenge Penta for the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam. Gable outlasted Dominik Mysterio, Joe Hendry, Je’Von Evans, Ethan Page, Dragon Lee and Rusev.

- Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins appeared live to sign their contract for SummerSlam. Rollins claimed that his beating Reigns was an inevitability. Reigns retorted that Rollins was always number 2, despite the fact that his “work daddy” is running things. Rollins dropped Reigns with a Pedigree to stand tall and close the show.
