Multiple title matches, the end of a rivalry and more have been announced for WWE SummerSlam 2026.
The first match was confirmed at Night of Champions after IYO SKY won the Queen of the Ring tournament. SKY defeated reigning Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan in the final, and later announced that she would be facing SKY in Minnesota next month.
The new King of the Ring, Oba Femi, made a different decision following his victory. On the June 29 Raw, Femi was interrupted by Brock Lesnar. After Lesnar “congratulated” Femi on his victory, Lesnar laid out The Ruler with a low blow and an F5. Femi then challenged Lesnar to a match at SummerSlam to bring their rivalry to an end. Lesnar then upped the ante by announcing that he wanted to face Femi inside Hell in a Cell, which was later made official. Commentary later noted that Lesnar has never lost a Hell in a Cell match in his career.
Both men are currently 1-1 in their series. Femi defeated Lesnar at WrestleMania, with Lesnar winning the rematch at Clash in Italy.
Also on Raw, Roman Reigns found out who his SummerSlam opponent would be. Reigns was interrupted by Seth Rollins, who spoke about their 14-year history. With Reigns needing to beat Rollins, the match was later made official for SummerSlam.
