The first WWE Raw of 2026 aired live on January 5 with multiple title matches and more taking place on the show.
Marking one year since the Monday night show premiered on Netflix, Raw was headlined by CM Punk putting his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Bron Breakker. Additionally, The Kabuki Warriors put their Women’s Tag Team Titles on the line, and Maxxine Dupri put her Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line.
Michael Cole and Corey Graves were on commentary for the show. 14,728 fans were announced in attendance.
WWE Raw Results January 5:
- Michael Cole and Corey Graves opened the show, and made their entrance on the top of the ramp that was covered in Stranger Things scenery.
- Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY defeated Asuka and Kairi Sane to win the Women’s Tag Team Championships.
- Gunther appeared live and demanded respect, but was interrupted by AJ Styles, who slapped The Ring General and left. Styles vs. Gunther was made official for next week.
- Becky Lynch defeated Maxxine Dupri to win the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
- The Usos celebrated their Tag Team Championship victory.
- Stephaie Vaquer appeared in a walking boot, and was attacked by Raquel Rodriguez.
- Liv Morgan defeated Lyra Valkyria.
- CM Punk defeated Bron Breakker to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.
