The WWE Raw on Netflix era continues.
Coming off a very newsworthy and eventful debut, the January 13th episode of Raw was effectively the return of regularly scheduled programming as the debut was designed for more casual fans. On the Raw on Netflix debut, Rhea Ripley finally defeated Liv Morgan to win back the Women’s World Championship. Celebrating the victory and the start of her new reign, Ripley appeared live on the show.
Raw also saw the debut of former AEW star Penta, who was revealed to be Chad Gable’s mystery luchador opponent. Additionally, the first-ever Women’s Intercontinental Champion was crowned.
Michael Cole and Pat McAfee were the announce team for the show.
The Following Results Took Place On WWE Raw:
- Following a recap of the Raw on Netflix debut, CM Punk officially kicked off the show. Punk officially declared for the Royal Rumble before being interrupted by Seth Rollins, who also stated that he would be an entrant in the Rumble match. Drew McIntyre interrupted both men and also announced that he would be entering the Rumble match, setting up one of the most stacked Rumbles in history.
- Chad Gable’s mystery opponent was revealed to be Penta, who defeated Gable and cut a promo after the match
- Sheamus defeated Ludwig Kaiser. After the match, Sheamus had a confrontation with Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker
- Karrion Kross confronted The Miz and confirmed that The Wyatt Sicks have been moved over to SmackDown
- Gunther attempted to cut a promo but was interrupted by Jey Uso, who challenged the World Heavyweight Champion to a match at Saturday Night’s Main Event
- Lyra Valkryira defeated Dakota Kai to become the first ever Women’s Intercontinental Champion
- Sami Zayn defeated The Miz
- Rhea Ripley reminded the fans that Mami was back on top before being interrupted by Nia Jax and Bayley. Jax vowed to win the Women’s Royal Rumble and a brawl ensued with the babyfaces standing tall
- Damian Priest defeated Finn Balor in a street fight
