The fallout from SummerSlam and much more took place on WWE Raw.
Gunther became the new World Heavyweight Champion at SummerSlam largely in part to an assist from Finn Balor, who betrayed Damian Priest in the match. Gunther appeared live and celebrated his victory while also finding out who his challenger would be for Bash in Berlin. Additionally, the Wyatt Sicks made their highly-anticipated in-ring debut on the show against Chad Gable and The Creed Brothers.
The Following Results Took Place On WWE Raw:
- A returning Ludwig Kaiser introduced the new World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. The Ring General was interrupted by Randy Orton, who referenced the controversial finish to their match in the King of the Ring final. A match between Gunther and Orton with the title on the line has been made official for Bash in Berlin
- Sheamus defeated Ludwig Kaiser
- Damian Priest called out Balor, who appeared via video screen. Not making his way out to the ring, Balor stated that Priest would face JD McDonagh later in the night. Balor then introduced the new Judgment Day with Carlito, Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan as the remaining members
- Lyra Valkyria defeated Shayna Baszler via DQ when Valkyria was attacked by Sonya Deville and Zoey Stark
- CM Punk addressed the loss at SummerSlam before being interrupted by Seth Rollins. Drew McIntyre taunted Punk to leave Rollins in the ring alone, who was attacked by Bronson Reed
- The New Day defeated AOP thanks to an assist from Odyssey Jones
- A-Town Down Under defeated The Miz and R-Truth
- Damian Priest defeated JD McDonagh by DQ when Finn Balor attacked Priest. Rhea Ripley chased off The Judgment Day
- Iyo Sky defeated Sonya Deville
- The Wyatt Sicks defeated Chad Gable and The Creed Brothers
