The final show before Backlash, multiple contract signings and more are set for the May 4 episode of WWE Raw.
The main event of the Backlash Premium Live Event on May 7 will see Roman Reigns defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Jacob Fatu. Both the champion and challenger will appear live one more time on Raw to sign the contract and make their match official. The second contract signing will see Raw’s newest acquisition, Sol Ruca, sign her contract to officially join the Raw roster after being called up from NXT.
Following his dominant victory over Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42 and subsequent victory over Grayson Waller 2 weeks later, Oba Femi will be in action. The ruler will present an open challenge on Raw, with the opponent yet to be confirmed.
The two matches announced for the show will see Finn Balor face JD McDonagh, along woth Penta teaming with Je’Von Evans to take on Rusev and Ethan Page.
This will also be the final show before Backlash, menaing that the show will focus on the next PLE.
