The fallout from Saturday Night’s Main Event and more is set for the January 26 episode of WWE Raw.
At the first special of the year, AJ Styles defeated Shinsuke Nakamura in what could be his penultimate match, as The Phenomenal One will take on Gunther at Royal Rumble with his career at stake. Both Styles and Gunther have segments announced for the show to build to their match.
On the January 12 episode of Raw, Bron Breakker was suspended after he put his hands on General Manager Adam Pearce. However, Paul Heyman believes that he has a case against Pearce, as it was the GM who put his hands on Breakker first. After Pearce received a phonecall from an unknown source the previous week, Breakker has been invited to return from suspension so that the differences can be settled.
With The Usos without challengers for their World Tag Team Championships, a 4-way match is scheduled to take place which will determine new number one contenders for the titles.
With the Royal Rumble set to air live from Saudi Arabia on January 31, this will be the final episode of TV to air in North America, as the go-home SmackDown is scheduled to air live from the Kingdom. It is also possible that more Superstars may declare for the event on the show.
The Following Has Been Announced For The January 26 WWE Raw:
- Bron Breakker returns from suspension
- The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) vs. Alpha Academy (Otis & Akira Tozawa) vs. Los Americanos (Bravo & Rayo) vs. American Made (Brutus Creed & Julius Creed) – The winners will become the new number one contenders for the WWE World Tag Team Championships
