Linkin Park has provided one of the official themes for the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble, which is set to take place on January 31.
“Heavy is the Crown” is the second single from the band’s latest album “From Zero”, which also saw the debut of new singer Emily Armstrong. The album was released in 2024 and was the first album from Linkin Park following Chester Bennington’s tragic passing back in 2017.
The announcement was made by Triple H on social media as part of the promotion for the upcoming Premium Live Event, which is set to air live from Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.
The Road to #WrestleMania starts in less than a week…and @linkinpark brings the soundtrack. “Heavy Is The Crown” by Linkin Park is an Official Theme Song of #RoyalRumble.
Linkin Park Provides Theme For WWE Royal Rumble
Although the band have had their music used in video packages in the past, this is the first time that a Linkin Park song has been used as an official theme for a WWE Premium Live Event. At the time of writing, there has been no word regarding the band performing the song live at the Rumble.
The current line-up for the Royal Rumble is as follows:
- Men’s Royal Rumble match
- Women’s Royal Rumble match
- AJ Styles vs. Gunther – If AJ Styles loses then he must retire
- Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Sami Zayn – Singles match for the WWE Undisputed Championship
The Royal Rumble will air live on ESPN in the United States and on Netflix internationally.
