A title match and more have been announced for the August 17 edition of WWE Raw.
After winning the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam, Cha Gable is looking to prove he is a worthy champion. Gable met with rey Mysterio backstage and said that he wanted to defend the title against the Hall of Famer. Mysterio agreed and the match was made official for Raw.
The main event of the August 10 Raw saw Jey Uso defeat Solo Sikoa. Per the terms of the match, Sikoa must rejoin The Bloodline and fall in line with the group. Uso promised that he would deliver Sikoa to Reigns following the win, and he will get his opportunity next week. Reigns will appear live on Raw, likely to address the latest Bloodline developments and what’s next for the group.
After Penta advanced in the tournament to see who will face Roman Reigns in Mexico, more first round matches are scheduled to take place on Raw. Dragon Lee will face El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr., while Rey Fenix will face El Fiscal.
