Kay Lee Ray Joins National Wrestling League

Former WWE star Kay Lee Ray has been announced as part of the National Wrestling League, becoming the first female to sign with the promotion.

On August 16, the League announced that Ray, previously known as Alba Fyre in WWE, had joined the League and will represent the Glasgow Hitmen moving forward. Ray will make her appearance as part of the Week 3 matchups, which will take place in Glasgow on October 3.

With Kay Lee Ray being the first female signing for the National Wrestling League, more announcements are expected closer to the show. When one user questioned if the update would mean more women being announced or intergender matches, the NWL account responded, “The other five managers are surely now on notice!”

Following her WWE exit earlier in the year, Ray has competed in Pro Wrestling EVE and RevPro in the UK, along with a match for Italian promotion SAJ.

As part of the announcement that Ray will be joining the league, Glasgow Hitmen manager Kenny McIntosh expressed his delight at the latest signing. McIntosh reminded the fans of Ray’s past accomplishments and what they can expect in Glasgow later in the year:
