A major title match, a major return and more will take place on WWE Raw.
At WrestleMania 40, Sami Zayn was the one to bring Gunther’s record-breaking Intercontinental Championship reign to an end after more than 600 days as champion. Trained by Chad Gable in the lead-up to the match, Gable asked for the title shot if Zayn was victorious. Making good on his promise, Zayn will defend the title against Gable on Raw.
On the April 8th episode of Raw, it was revealed that Sheamus would be making his return to WWE after a lengthy hiatus. On the following episode of SmackDown it was announced that the former WWE Champion’s return date would be the April 15th show.
Also on the Raw after Mania, Rhea Ripley was attacked by Liv Morgan, who is out for revenge on her former tag team partner. Ripley will address the attack on the show.
