The signature ladder matches, the World Title on the line and more are set for WWE Money in the Bank 2026.
Six men and women will be part of the Money in the Bank ladder matches. Whoever gains possession of the briefcase will be able to cash in at any time to earn a championship opportunity of their choosing. Most of the entrants in each of the matches have never held a top title before, so they will be looking to use the match to change their careers. The Women’s briefcase still has a 100% success rate since its introduction back in 2017.
Back in 2023, LA Knight unsuccessfully challenged Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship. Knight lost the match thanks to interference from The Bloodline. After attacking Reigns at a Raw taping in Mexico, Reigns finally granted the rematch. In the lead-up to the match, Knight has stated that he hopes it will be a fair fight. On the final SmackDown before Money in the Bank, WWE announced that Reigns vs. Knight would open the show.
Also announced, powerhouses Oba Femi and Bronson Reed will face off. Additionally, Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer will face both Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan in a triple threat match. With a single contender unable to be determined, Vaquer will take on both.
The show will start at 6 pm United States Eastern Time, which will be 11 pm in the UK.
