No strangers to the video game world, WWE has released titles on consoles, PC and mobile devices dating back to the late 80s. Currently partnered with 2K Games, the latest title to be released was WWE 2K26.

No further details have been provided regarding the game itself, release date or formats.

WWE Video Game Spinoff On The Way?

Although WWE has now joined many major sports franchises in producing an annual traditional game, there have been some secondary titles produced. In 2003, WWE Crush Hour was a vehicular combat game that saw the stars of the promotion compete in a demolition derby-style show. In 2020, the game WWE 2K Battlegrounds featured a faster-paced and more animated fighting style, similar to that of Super Smash Bros on the Nintendo. WWE 2K Battlegrounds was also one of the featured games for PlayStation Plus subscribers in July 2021.

The general format of the WWE 2K games sees an expansive roster featuring stars of the past and present. Additionally, players can compete in popular stipulation matches, create their own wrestler, and play through a career mode.
