Willow Nightingale will put her AEW TBS Championship on the line against Nina Samuels at Eve Wrestle Queendom VIII on March 8.
As announced on social media on March 6, AEW President Tony Khan allowed Nightingale to put her TBS Title on the line at the event. The match was previously set between Nightingale and Samuels, but was originally booked as a non-championship bout.
Nightingale won the championship from Mercedes Mone at the end of 2025 on the final Dynamite of the year. Samuels has been a standout star of the UK independent scene, but has also previously made appearances in All Elite Wrestling and was previously signed to NXT UK.
Wrestle Queendom VIII will air live on YouTube and features multiple AEW stars alongside major stars from the UK independents.
Willow Nightingale To Put Title On The Line At Wrestle Queendom VIII
One of the biggest women’s wrestling events to take place in the UK, Wrestle Queendom VIII will emanate from the Indigo at the O2 in London and is sold out. Along with Riho facing Session Moth Martina in the main event for the top prize in EVE, the show will also see championships from NJPW and AEW on the line. The announced card is currently as follows:
- Sudden Death 16 – DASH Chisako vs. Amale vs. Miyu Yamashita vs. Jamie Hayter vs. Alexxis Falcon vs. 11 wrestlers to be announced
- LALLIE (Hollie Barlow & Lana Austin) (c) vs. A mystery partner & Charli Evans – Tag team match for the EVE Tag Team Championships
- AZM vs. Safire Reed
- Willow Nightingale (c) vs. Nina Samuels – Singles match for the AEW TBS Championship
- Amira (w/ Cassius) vs. Harley Cameron
- Syuri (c) vs. Alex Windsor – Singles match for the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship
- Kris Statlander (c) vs. Charlie – Singles match for the EVE International Championship
- Rhio (c) vs. Session Moth Martina – Singles match for the EVE Women’s Championship
